I loved this activity and so did Caden7 and Drake6. We chose a desert landscape but we will definitely do it again with other landscapes. I started by talking to them about the ways desert plants adapt to the shortages of water. We looked at tiny thorns and small leaves. Then they began picking one plant at a time to add to their landscape.

Caden7 decided to use his sketch from the park as a reference to make this drawing. It was really cool to see that he was so into it that he wanted to do more:)
