Sensory Shape Bag

When I was a preschool teacher we had this cool sensory bag that had little wooden shapes and matching wooden tiles. The shapes were random things like dogs and trees. Wanting to be frugal I sewed a quick little bag out of some dark material. I took this puzzle we have had for a while(I think it is Mellisa and Doug) and put the pieces in the bag. At first Caden didn't understand so we just kept pulling out the shapes and putting them in the right spots. Now only a few days later he can find all of the shapes without looking. Drake also loves the bag but he just pulls one out at a time and acts really surprised no matter what shape he gets:) Too Cute!
This is how it is set up on the shelf:) Very complicated:)

  1. That's a great way to switch up doing a puzzle! Cute that he acts surprised every time. =)
